What I did on my vacation.....
I took my kids and packed the car and hit the road! We drove from West Virginia to Colorado to visit my sister, and came back by way of Santa Fe and Nashville. Here are a few of the things we saw:

We went to St. Louis and rode on a river boat,
we saw the sights of St. Louis,

we went to the Museum of Natural History in Denver,
watched cousin Hans get a haircut from Auntie Karen,

we made some really big bubbles at the Children's Museum in Denver
we went to the Denver Zoo and rode a hippopotamus,

we went for a walk to Adam's Falls outside of Grand Lake, Colorado,

we rode some horses,
 

and ate a steak dinner out in the open,
we saw some really nice scenery from horseback near Grand Lake,

we headed the horses home,
and rode some more,

we sat on top of the world in Rocky Mountain National Park,
we saw some breathtaking sights (see the brown specks? Those are elk!),
 

and more sights,
and more sights (I took this from the car!),

and more sights (yep, that's me!),
 

we visited another world in Taos, New Mexico,

we stood on the banks of the Rio Grande in New Mexico,
and we stopped in Sante Fe before our loooong trip home to West Virginia!
